London is very very grey at the moment. Oh and it’s bastard cold as well. I walked from Victoria Station to Pimlico last night for a guinness or two with friends and snapped phots as I went. By the time I got to Clarendon Road I was worried that knocking on the doors would simply cause my fingers to splinter onto the pavement.

Victoria Station to Pimlico takes, what, 10 minutes at the most? (Just in case the non-Londoners thought you were out in the cold for miles and miles, Mr Moobs …).
For me that’s full cardio-vascular workout. I had to nip into a newsagents halfway for a bar of Kendal Mint Cake
Some sort of woolen finger covering garment would seem to be in order.
Yes my wife recently drew my attention to a garment which covers your gentials and legs called “trousers”. They have proven a useful addition to my wardrobe although I am attracting less attention than I once did which is not what I had understood teh purpose of fashion to be.
Woolen finger garment? – Piffle, some sort of rechargeable handwarmer’s what you need.
I must say I usually find it easier just to slip my hands into someone else’s pockets.
